Fresh salt water embrace, surfing in this beautiful place.
I feel at “home”, it’s been two years since I saw your shores.
Just dived in, running down from sandy shore, to so much more, a blue clear dream, lots of sun screen.
Out among surfers, young and old, slowing down after the glitz of air-conditioned office life,
Are just as likely to get dropped in by a 9 year old flying across the wave.
People still say hey, even G’day, yet most of all it’s the moments of being together again after so many days and months.
The afternoon storm streams in, the flash and rumble, life refreshed, take a breath,
Moments at their best.
